As a selected artist participating in the 2016 Sunday @ Shemer Family Arts Festival, here are a few key dates and information:

Sunaday@Shemer | Sunday, November 6 from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m! 

·      Your booth fee of $85 is due by October 21.  You may mail in a check, pay by phone or credit card.  Scroll to the end for online payment.

·      You will be assigned a booth number in advance of the event.

·      A 10’x10’ pop-up tent and one chair will be set-up for you by Saturday, November 5, between 9 and 11am.  No easels, tables, or pedestals will be provided. 

·      Initial set-up may begin at 12pm on Saturday, November 5, but artwork cannot be brought in until the morning of the event for security purposes.

·      Please drop off your silent auction item on Saturday, November 5.

·      On Sunday, November 6th final set-up will be from 6:30 to 8:30am. There will be a check-in for artists in the Shemer Art Center kitchen with coffee and donuts provided for you.

·      All artist vehicles must have an Artist Parking Pass in the windshield and all vehicles are required to be moved to the south parking lot (behind the grove) by 9am the morning of the event.

·      You will be expected to handle all your own booth sales and packaging.

·      Each artist may bring one assistant who will receive an Assistant’s Pass and you are permitted two guest entries for free, the names for whom must be provided to the Shemer by October 28.

·      All participating artists are strongly encouraged to stay the entire duration of the event.

Silent Auction information:

·       provide a photo of your donation by October 14th. Be sure to include: the title of your work, the medium, size dimensions, and retail value to info@shemerartcenter.org

·      provide a 2-3 sentence artist statement about your work for promotional efforts.

·      Your donation should be representative of your work and equal in value to for-sale work at your booth.  

·      Your donation is tax deductible.  Documentation will be sent after the event.

·      photo of your auction item will be posted at your booth to encourage visitors to bid from 10am to 3pm.

To create additional awareness about this year’s event please be sure to share the news about your selection with your own mailing lists and social networking sites to help promote the event. Please share the Shemer Facebook Postings as well.
